Dreams

I am the hand of nature risen from the earth, I reach, I yearn for the glorious light above, To speak, to find my true life's worth. My fingers stretch out, longing for the sky, With the onset of extended nights creeping in by and by. My thoughts drift and my mind starts to wonder, To Dreams that are the magic found in a most authentic mind. I find myself beyond my being pushed through my own skin, I loose all those ties drawing me down and in.
At last ! I see the sky ! I push through the undergrowth, I break free from my cage, To soar over the trees and learn how to fly!
