Singer (...& Musician)

Music has always played a huge part in Sophie's life. It has helped her in character preparation, scene study and broadened her creative opportunities in her professional life and has also been a source of inspiration and healing in her personal one. Whilst growing up, she trained as a classical and operatic singer and at the age of 16, she gained her ABRSM Grade 8 exam in Singing with Merit. Most recently, she has started to explore the genres of Jazz, folk and Musical theatre whilst still continuing to develop her technique from her operatic roots.

As a teenager, Sophie also took up the flute and she is currently working towards her grade 8 exam. She is also able to play the piano and ukulele at a beginner's level.
